Ketameko is a charity founded by Pilar Veiga and Laura Johannes under the umbrella of Roman Catholic AIDS Action: ...Ronald and Malcolm are arguing about who should help to clean up in the kitchen. It is not much of a heated or serious argument as their bickering is laced with bunter and humourous interjections from the rest of the 7 to 12 year old boys around the table. Its a cold Thursday afternoon at the St. Petrus Parish in Narraville where a few local woman have been running a soup kitchen for more then 13 years. On this particular Thursday. the hall is packed with close to 130 children ranging from 5 to 14 years of age. All of these children have homes, but there wont be a warm meal waiting for them...

Pilar, a former swim professional also traines children within the Ketameko initiative to learn how to swim. Especially in a coastal area with our rough coastline it is a livesaving issue.

Pilar also gives swimming lessons to the kids at the international school Walvis Bay.
